Bluegills just starting to hit!

It's been a long, cold, and windy Spring in SW Michigan this year. A far cry from ideal fly fishing for pan fish weather. We just have to be patient. On one nice day, last week Thursday, I took 22 gills on a yellow popper in about 1 1/2hrs.... they were biting light, but starting to feed in the shallows... also looking for any warm water!
